The result of nearly 30-years of work, the Archaeological Mapping Lab of the UPenn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology created a map of Augustan-era Rome to help better understand the composition, organization and planning of the ancient urban city. Phase II builds upon the existing site bringing the full contents of Mapping Augustan Rome publication online, providing a full academic resource to both explore the map and understand the structures and their significance.
