Part of NOAA’s National Estuarine Research Reserve System the Old Woman Creek Estuarine Research Reserve in Huron, OH helps understands and find solutions to crucial issues facing America’s coastal communities through research, education and stewardship.

As part of the overhaul of their recent visitors center Octothorp Studio worked with Riggs Ward and Potion Design to design and develop an interactive estuary. The estuary is designed for visitors to learn about how choices in the community affect watershed health.
