I am a graphic designer, a user experience designer, an information architect, a developer, communicator, amateur map maker…a new idea of what I want to do and where I want to go every week.
I employ a process rich interactive development strategy that involves heavy conceptual design, high-level documentation, user experience design, information architecture, visual design and full development. As a seasoned a developer with over ten-years of experience I bring a deep understanding of interactive software development both on and off of the web, front and back-end. As a trained designer I bring a keen eye for high-quality visual design and typography that lives in harmony with highly functional and well considered design solutions.
For the last three years I have been an Interaction Designer with Second Story Interaction Studios, a leader in interaction and experience design for museums. My focus is on the fusion between graphic design, interaction design, content, and technology working to develop considered information design solutions, with high-quality visual design, functional and expressive user-experience design, and highly structured development strategies. All with the goal to create beautiful and enchanting experiences for people to enjoy and learn from.
